Workers Make Video Mocking Textbook Company

0

A raise would have been a better token of your appreciation, assholes.

This is a video that was created for a textbook publishing company where I used to work. It was created for a company-wide sales meeting, but never used because it was deemed inappropriate.

Somehow I got my hands on it.

I wrote the first segment, “Anniversary,” and it’s about the company’s tradition of celebrating your work “anniversary” by giving you stupid trinkets. For your 1 year anniversary you get a card, 2 years you get a chintzy keychain, 3 years you get a pen, and so on.

The second segment (what put it the vid into the “inappropriate” category) is basically mocking a crap product that we sold and how we’d get SO many calls for support.

The third segment is about a series of books that we did which are for nude photography (and associated computer programs). Those were a big hit.

The fourth segment is terrible, so you can stop watching before that. Editor’s note: Thanks for the head’s up, Selena
