Video: Hurricane Reporter Gets Mouth Full of “Sea Foam”
Now that Hurricane Irene is pretty much all but gone, everyone is putting the pieces together this morning and making sense of what happened.
For reporters, many will return home and look back at the work they did this weekend. Reporters braved the elements to stand on the beaches from North Carolina to Massachusetts, all in the name of providing us updates and trying to put together an Emmy reel.
I imagine each of those men and women are getting high-fives this morning from colleagues. Well, almost everyone. We know of one reporter who is likely having a serious case of the Mondays:
Looks messy, and it is.
A local news reporter from Washington, D.C. ended up getting covered in what is probably the remnants of raw sewage as he delivered live hurricane reports from Ocean City, Md.
That. Is. Disgusting. Reporter Tucker Barnes literally covered in frothy sewage.
In case you didn’t watch the video, you probably missed lines like “I can tell you first-hand, it doesn’t smell great” and “It doesn’t taste great.”
So if you’re having a tougher time getting to work this morning because of the storm, take a deep breath and be thankful that you didn’t just inhale poop foam.

trying to think of a good “foaming at the mouth” rabies joke but it’s just not coming to me this morning
