The HOT Commute
The East Coast is facing record-breaking heat this week and it is affecting everyone’s commute. Unfortunately if you take a peek at the 10-day forecast for cities such as D.C., Philadelphia, and New York, there doesn’t appear to be a day with a temperature lower than 90 until the weekend.
Great. As if it was hard enough to put a smile on your face coming back to the office after the 4th of July Holiday, now you are expected to do it covered in sweat.
Obviously the heat makes you feel more annoyed and on edge. But there’s a reason this feeling is different on your way to the office compared to a vacation at the beach.
Here are 5 reasons why the heat makes your commute go from bad to very bad:
1. You have to pay for iced coffee
