Seen Around the Office: Kitchen Surveillance

1

If you don't refill the Jet-Dry, they'll know...

Companies that invest in surveillance cameras ultimately do it for two reasons: important people and valuable property. If your office has a full-time security department, you might as well strut around like an egomaniac all day because your company thinks you are the crème del la crème.

And then comes my office. Most working in the my field would recognize the company I work for in a heartbeat. It’s top notch. Our office contains countless confidential documents and some of the most educated and skilled people in the industry. You’d think that there would be cameras around every corner, especially with the company’s level of clientele and product.

Instead, in the corner of our humble kitchen lies a camera pointed directly at the dishwasher. I’ve heard countless urban legends about where the camera feed actually goes, but one thing is for sure. It’s pointless. I know it’s pointless because I am the one that does everyone’s left over dishes. The only reason I take the extra few minutes out of my life to do it, is so that I can flick off the camera when the right mood calls for it, just to prove a point.

See crazy $$$$ around your office? Snap a PDA picture and send it to submissions@thecollaredsheep.com and tell us why it’s funny.
