Real Estate Agent Uses Client’s House for “Romantic Escapades”
Selling a home in today’s market can take time. Adam Bunge and Sarah Bunge hired Coldwell Real Estate Agent Steven Skar to sell their house while they took a four-month “work holiday” in London this year.
Seems like a great plan. While you wait, take a vacation.
The only issue: while the Bunge’s were away, Mr. Skar was busy getting a lot of other “jobs” accomplished at the same time. Here is what the StarTribune had to report:
While they were gone, they allege in a lawsuit filed last week, their real estate agent used their house and possessions for “unauthorized sexual escapades,” staining their sheets, couch, carpet and other surfaces.
Wow. The rest of the world is busy banging out spreadsheets in the office while Mr. Skar is busy banging out broads on the clock. Not so fast. According to the neighbor’s report, Skar left the house with another man (not that there is anything wrong with that).
A group of neighbors stormed the house after they noticed a bedroom light was on late one night. The neighbors then emailed Mr. Bunge, stating that weird stuff was going on in his house, putting an end to Mr. Skar’s escapades. Good bye London vacation.
It gets worse. The poor Bunge family had to manage a $7,000 clean-up in the home that included the replacement of furniture, sheets, towels, the couple’s robes and her negligee (who was wearing this?).
It feels like we have been violated in every sense of the word.
Needless to say, Adam and Sarah (it should be noted that she is a Lutheran Pastor) can no longer stay in the house.
What was Steven Skar thinking? I’m guessing that this is the cardinal sin of Real Estate. And to think he believed a 15 minute clean for an open house (his excuse to the neighbors) could resolve $7,000 worth of damages? Insane.
This guy really must have went to town on the Maple Grove House. I don’t blame the Bunge’s for never wanting to step foot in their home again.
He absolutely woke up today with a case of the Mondays, considering the lawsuit, termination, and revocation of his real estate license.
Mr. Skar, I hope it was worth it.

I like that the lawsuit calls it “unauthorized sexual escapades.” Do some agents have authorization? I guess the Bunges forgot to sign form 37A.
$7,000 to clean it up? That’s some serious escapade-ing that went down.
