Chances are, if you’re a typical cubicle worker, you’ve probably spent more time than you’d care to admit hammering out Word .docs at your job. Chances are also pretty good that you’ve had to copy and paste some text from the web, a manager’s email, or a random .pdf file. And I’m willing to bet that at some point, that text happened to look like it had been written by a myspace tweenie-bopper (“xx LOL hI i LUV THiS SITE xx!”).

How to change text to uppercase, lowercase, and title case in MS Word

1) Highlight the text.

2) Hit Shift+F3 once to convert to all uppercase letters.

3) Hit Shift+F3 again to convert to all lowercase letters.

4) Hit Shift+F3 again to convert to title case letters.

5) Profit.

Note: You may continue to hit Shift+F3 to cycle back through the variations.
