Man Lives Under One Roof With 38 Wives, 94 Children
If you work with any dads, or if you are a dad, I hope they come into the office this morning feeling better than most Mondays. No father should experience a case of the Mondays the day after Father’s Day. A day of appreciation can do wonders.
Actually, there’s one dad who is allowed to have a case of the Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, etc. That’s because he has 94 kids and 38 wives — and they all live under one roof in Mizoram, India.
Ziona, 66, and his family live in a home they call “Chhuan That Run” — or house of the new generation.
I can’t imagine Chhuan That Run is the Taj Mahal, especially considering 192 people in the house share ONE KITCHEN.
According to one of Ziona’s wives:
“We prepare 30-35kg of pork when we want to eat meat and require around 50kg of rice for dinner,” she said.
That’s 60 pounds of rice, by the way.
If you’re wondering, Ziona is the head of the Chana sect, where members “contribute one tenth of their monthly earnings for the sect which is used for the development of the community which practices a blend of democracy and communism.” The members of the sect, numbering almost 3,000, live in about 350 houses.
Should that not work out, I’m sure his home life has led to some valuable office skills: delegation, team leader, human resources, etc.
We say to Ziona, pump the breaks, hoss.
As for you, have a good Monday. Be nice and tell any coworkers who are fathers “Happy Father’s Day” and to all of the papa sheep who read us, we say that to you.
