Every so often a coworker will come in on a Monday morning and admit part of his weekend was spent at the strip club.

It can generally be summed up as either a bachelor party or a last stop after a long night of drinking. Either way, too much money was spent. At my workplace, the coworkers who usually drop this story are the mid 20s, early 30s unmarried fellows who can afford to be a little irresponsible sometimes. The responsible husbands and fathers of the office generally lament at their inability to “have nights like that” anymore.

However, a 27-year-old Florida man had a much different strip club tale for his pals:

He was three sheets to the wind and $300 lighter in the pocket after a beer-soaked night at a strip club. And then, the out-of-town visitor realized that his wife may have some questions about where his paycheck went — so authorities say [he] flagged down a police officer and said he was robbed at gunpoint.

Is this unnamed man so afraid of his wife that he’d rather lie to police? If that’s the case, this guy definitely has a case of the Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and so on.

Now, I’ve frequented some strip clubs, to the dismay of Lady Von Kaiser (won’t accept the fact that these trips are just a part of alumni weekends), and I must say spending $300 means you were pretty active, especially at the Peek-A-Boo Lounge in Manatee County.
