Man Busted After 1st Wife Finds Marriage Photo with 2nd Wife in Newspaper
Mondays can be extremely tough waking up. For most people, it is a result of your activities over the past weekend. Unfortunately for Nicholas Trikilis, this Australian man was tired from all the time spent he spent over the weekend explaining which wife he loves more.
The UPI reported this story on Friday:
An Australian man pleaded guilty to bigamy after his first wife saw his second wedding photo in a newspaper and went to the police.
Seriously, what was this guy thinking? Sure, there have been bigger risk takers (think Jeff Skilling) but posting a wedding photo of your second wife on the local news paper is not going to have a good outcome under any circumstance.
Forging divorce papers to make it all happen? Boy, did his plans backfire.

The not-so-newlyweds.

To make things worse, the man was fined $1800 by the Australian government for this crime. I’m not quite sure how their judicial system operates but in five years, Mr. Trikilis is serving a 6-month sentence.
So while you are battling to stay awake this morning, just remember: at least you aren’t associated with the word Bigamist. Happy Monday everyone.
