Infographic: Which Companies are the Most Social?
There’s no denying the fact that social media is becoming more and more of a mainstay in the corporate environment. Whether your company embraces it or tries to block it, sites such as Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn are being accessed in high numbers.
The folks over at Flowtown, a social media consultant and analyst, created this infographic based on the NetProspex Social Report 2010. This comprehensive report compiled social media stats to determine top 50 most social large corporations. Within this list, they broke it down further quantifying the top companies that use twitter, type of social network used, and gender demographics.
Surprisingly, Microsoft almost doubles Google in social media activity among employees. I guess working on the next version of Windows can only keep your focus for so long.
And if you haven’t created an account on LinkedIn, I suggest you do that now. Of all social media platforms that employees have membership, LinkedIn takes the majority of the market share at 43%. The next closest is of course Facebook at 11%.
