Today is tax day. It’s the day most of America is frantically gathering their W-2′s and installing Turbo Tax, all in an effort to file their taxes before the end of the day.

Most of us sheep have taxes taken out of each paycheck. At the end of the year, the government decides whether you paid too much, or paid too little. Either way, one thing is for sure – America collects. Big time. Billions of dollars big time.

What exactly does America do with said billions? Good question. The huge infographic below, courtesy of wallstats.com, breaks down exactly where our tax dollars as a whole are spent.
