Team Analysis:

Man down! Yes, it is true — I am now left with members on Team Tenacity. The next episode provided some insight on how the producers plan to move forward given the fact that the men’s team is now comprised of just Bret Michaels and Curtis Stone. It looks like they are divvying up the females and ditching the “men vs. women” theme. Regardless, I don’t know if Maria Kanellis or Summer Sanders will be taking me to the top.
Goldberg was a complete let down. Although he stepped up as Project Manager this week, he informed Trump that he had delegated “95%” of the work to Bret Michaels. This didn’t go over extremely well with the judges and Goldberg later revised that number to 87% — great work Goldberg. He was the workhorse of the group, but acting as Project Manager this week, it was clear that he is not an “idea man.” This led to his overall fall from the competition. Not to mention, he continued to wear those trademark sunglasses which only hurt his chances of winning.
And in case you missed last night’s episode, Maria Kanellis had the quote of the episode:
When I did Playboy, you know what they used to ask me?
“Are you shaved or are you hairy”
Correct. She said this on national television. Am I the only one who thinks the bickering between Maria and Cyndi became too much? No — the producers also picked up on this and moved Maria to the men’s team. Thank you.
Summer Sanders has yet to drop the ball in a competition. Some hope, maybe, but I wouldn’t bet my savings on it.
All-in-all, my team is in shambles. Having two of the weaker females is not a good way to finish out the season. Oh well, at least we all had the chance to learn media skills from Maria and her interview with Playboy. I hope you took notes.

My two lone rangers did OK this week. Sharon returned, looking healthy, and played it smart by not coming back guns blazing. The best part of the episode was the respect everyone showed her in the boardroom, including The Donald. The woman knows what she’s doing and everyone understands that, unlike Cyndi, who knew what she was doing and few understood that.
I honestly see Maria-Sharon throwing down at some point. Their personalities are big enough to create that kind of drama. Even though Maria is used to being in the ring, I’d put money on my girl — she’s a tough one.
As for Curtis, another fantastic job flying under the radar. I didn’t really like him being referred to as “the other guy” by Trump, but if that’s the worst thing that happened to me this week, I’m OK with that.
Looks like Rocksolid is getting some new team members next week, which is welcomed. Rocksolid was about as solid as this country’s confidence in the health care bill.

I purposely picked Cyndi and Bret for exactly this kind of event. The kind that relies on expertise in music industry. Aside from Sharon Osbourne, the other contestants had nothing in terms of raw musical talent.
At the time, this sounded like a great idea. Set up a monopoly on the music makers, and watch the other teams fail.
Sigh. If only it worked out this way. Instead, I watched my two nut jobs go toe-to-toe in a battle of wits. Read that once more for the irony. Somehow, someway, both of them managed to make it through the boardroom. I’ll tack it up to sheer luck. I’ve now expected Cyndi to be fired not once, not twice, but three times. Thankfully, I’ve never been right.
Holly did nothing to excite me, nor disappoint me. She still remains my best shot.
