Team Analysis:

Once again, my team completed a challenge without a loss. In Episode 4, Selita Ebanks excelled as Project Manager for Team Tenacity. Considering she was up against a technological simpleton named Rod Blagojevich, it’s hard to deem this as an impressive victory. However, she did appear very organized and should do well down the stretch. Goodbye Rod, we are all tired of hearing your nonsense.
Maria and Summer stayed behind the scenes in this challenge. Summer, who has now made an alliance with Holly Peete, has created a rift between the “other” alliance comprised of Sharon Osbourne and Cyndi Lauper. Maria is somewhere in the middle who will eventually have to pick a side. Unnecessary drama that is typical of reality television.
Goldberg has yet to be used as an idea man. In past episodes, he’s either lifted people or gone shirtless. This episode stayed within the theme having Goldberg dress up like a tree. I’m sure there’s a correct Harry Potter name for the tree, but I simply don’t care. Goldberg performed his assigned job well and had no issues making it to the next round. Later in the episode we learn that Goldberg is claustrophobic and the tree suit almost put him into a panic-attack. Trump picked up on this, tried to make a joke, and Goldberg clearly wasn’t having it.
Overall, I don’t think I have a clear “Winner” of Celebrity Apprentice but the season is still young. In any case, at least I’m not banking on Cyndi Lauper.

Well, last night went about as bad as it could go for an episode.
My No. 1 pick turned out to be a complete nightmare. I believe teammate Curtis Stone summed up my disbelief about Rod Blagojevich’s inability to e-mail, text or use a computer at all when he said “HE’S A F***** GOVERNOR.” In addition to completely dropping the ball on this week’s episode, Blago decided he wanted to screw my whole team by bringing Michael Johnson and Stone into the boardroom. He’s out of his mind. He was acting like a kamikaze pilot who decided to crash the plane into his own ship…my ship.
Hate to say it, but I’m glad he’s gone. The team didn’t know what to do with him.
So now I’m left with the two mentioned gents and Sharon Osbourne, who is making me nervous with her sniping remarks towards a very likable Holly Robinson Peete. Like watching ice melt? I already see the Selita-Holly-Summer-Maria (reluctantly) alliance forming. Once Cyndi is gone, Sharon will be on an island and it will be all up to her to hold on for dear life to the axle of the bus she’s thrown under in the future. It’s looking bleak already.
It’s not completely over, though. Michael seems about as competent as anyone and I think The Donald appreciates him speaking his mind and not sugar coating anything (I do). Curtis continues to be likable and calls it like he sees.
It can only go up from here. I think.

As previously mentioned, Cyndi is senile. In every other event besides this one, it’s been a big disadvantage, but this time they cast her as the crazy old Harry Potter witch and it was a different story. She kept muttering what sounded like “wizards and hobbits” (sorry, not a Potter fanatic) while her body twitched and spasmed continuously. Her performance was spot on.
Holly, who typically stays away from conflict, was called out by Sharon for not being “entertaining” enough. The Princess of Darkness can certainly bring the pain when she feels the need to, but unfortunately for her, Holly is here to stay. She will stay out of trouble and make it to the finals – I’m calling it now.
Rod selected Michaels to do his dirty work while he was away, which was a surprisingly decent call. Michaels rocked (pun intended) this round. Blago asked, and he delivered. It’s should be noted that he also delivered a behind-the-camera “nerd lingers” comment towards the youngsters. Well played Michaels – if you can’t beat them, throw a low-blow.
