Fantasy Celebrity Apprentice – Episode 10

McFly wins the League!
At the start of Episode 10, all contestants were interviewed to determine the final two for the finale. Maria Kanellis, Sharon Osbourne, and Curtis Stone were all fired before the actual challenge began. The two remaining contestants are now Bret Michaels and Holly Robinson Peete. As a result McFly wins the championship by default (The team with the Celebrity Apprentice winner receives +10 points).
Challenge this Week: Snapple was the sponsored company for the episode. Bret and Holly were tasked with creating their own Snapple flavor. They are each responsible for marketing the tea through a television commercial and print advertisement. Finally, each product will be launched in front of employees, distributors, and “passionate” Snapple tea fans. Contestants will be judged on originality, creativity, incorporating mission and message, and maintaining the essence and spirit of the Snapple Brand.

Team Analysis:
My season came to an abrupt end Sunday night with the firing of Maria Kanellis. Donald Trump couldn’t wait any longer, and nixed her within the first 15 minutes of the episode.
Unfortunately, her firing makes a lot of sense. Her contributions to the challenges were minimal at best. On top of that, the remaining contestants said all the right things to get her fired. At one point, Holly Robinson Peete even questioned her moral character. I’m not sure if her point related to Maria’s charitable drive or the fact that she was a Playboy pin-up but it helped make an otherwise non-essential part of the episode feel mildly entertaining.
Looking back at my team draft, it’s obvious that I made a lot of bad choices. With a competition like this, leadership is the number one key to success. Sure Brett Michael’s intelligence is lower than most others on the show, but he consistently provides ideas for the team. The only person I had close to being a finalist was Summer Sanders. All others simply performed their assigned duties and kept quiet during the board room—painful to watch. In summary, I never had a chance.
The competition may be over but the next week’s Celebrity Apprentice post will be one to remember.

I would be upset that both Sharon and Curtis were eliminated, but the absurdity in which they were let go makes it not worth my frustration.
The way Curtis handled Bret Michaels in the negotiation, fair or not, pretty much summed it up. And the fact that Holly, who has been on point, told The Donald to keep Sharon in the fold says a lot.
But it’s all good. I thought I had the strongest team going in. I clearly was clueless drafting Blago first, so c’est la vie.
What have I learned from this wacky experience? Well, we’ll go into that more next week after the show wraps up, but I learned that the sharpest (Curtis) and the strongest (Sharon) don’t always finish first. If Holly doesn’t moonwalk to a victory next Sunday, I’m going to wonder if NBC and The Donald can see the future and gave Bret the win out of sympathy…
But I hear he will be rocking again in two weeks, so I guess that’s good.
Alright, I’ve gone way off course because my team is done. So I’m done, as well.
I’m still in shock. When we started the draft, Bret was my very last pick. Holly wasn’t even picked at all – she ended up on my team by default.
Yet somehow my team earned a stroke of incredible luck, and they both end up being the finalists.
Who will win the finals? Bret? Holly? It doesn’t matter – they are both playing for my team. I win no matter the outcome. Booyah.
If you want my guess, Bret will win. Holly threw both Curtis and Maria under the bus to save herself, and unfortunately for her, they’ve both been recruited as her final team assistants. Karma’s a bitch.
Good game, gentleman. Good game.

Awesome job McFly! Who would have thought Brett would have made it this far? Holly, I could have guessed. But looking at your starting line up I doubted your victory, good job!
