Team Analysis:

Episode 1 went surprisingly as planned. As I mentioned before the premiere, I expected Carol Leifer to be the first one voted off. What I didn’t factor in was the -6 point damage my team received from her firing (I now basically have no chance). She was clearly the worst member on team Tenacity which was no secret to the Trump organization. For a second there, I thought Cyndi Lauper (who did well as a Project Manager) was going to get the boot due to the fear of confrontation by the women… unfortunately this didn’t happen.

For the rest of my team, Goldberg was much more charismatic than I had originally thought and should make it to the later rounds. Selita, the Victoria Secret model, was responsible for cooking burgers. It obviously doesn’t make much sense to put a person who strives to be hungry in charge of food, but she prevailed in the end, actually earning her charity $10,000 based on food quality alone. Maria Kanellis was quiet throughout the entire premiere and did not provide much insight on her business capabilities, although she does appear to be slightly crazy.

Based on Episode 1 alone, Goldberg is my only hope in getting back in the game.

After taking the 5-point hit, thanks to Carol, I will add Summer Sanders to the team. She has quite the trio going for her: Olympic gold medalist, good looking, and has worked for NBC in the past.

Von Kaiser Episode 1
It was a little Jekyll and Hyde for my team. Watching Blago was like being on a roller coaster, I’m seriously upset I picked him with the second overall pick. But most everything else about my team is smooth. Curtis Stone stepped up and thrived in his element. And the dude can definitely wear a suit. Michael Johnson, equally impressive in a suit, seems to be one of the most likable people on the show and should go far. I was happy to see team Rock Solid make that diner look like a rap video with all of those $100s and raise so much money for diabetes.

On the women’s side, my girl Sharon Osborne showed she means business. She needs to fly under the radar for a while, but I can’t see her biting her tounge much longer. I need her and Blago to keep it together (he has some violent hesitation in his board room answers…real worried). But I’m feeling good about my boy Curtis.

McFly Episode 1

Overall, I’m content with the first round performance of my team, except for Cyndi Lauper. I didn’t select her for her intellect, but come on…Did she really have to tell Trump about her friendship with Rosie O’Donnell? Did she forget that Trump and Rosie despise each other? Nice move, Cyndi – you do realize the object is to NOT get fired, right?

I had almost no faith in Bret Michaels during the draft, but he surprised all of us when he dropped the D-card (diabetes). It might as well have been a “Get out of jail free” card, because the only Big House this rocker is going to is the Trump Tower.
