Scientific fact: The boss you hate drives like an ass and was probably the “someone” that cut you off this morning.

The daily commute can be tough. There’s a lot of bad drivers out there that can make an already dreary Monday morning flat-out infuriating. So if you’re cut off by an 18-wheeler driving like a sports car on the way home tonight, don’t add to your case of the Mondays like this:

The driver of the Ford dump truck involved in a Tuesday I-95 road rage incident has been charged with attempted second-degree murder, the same charge already pending against the driver of a Jaguar accused of firing 13 shots at the afternoon rush hour confrontation ..  Virginia state police said.

Talk about escalating quickly. According to Washington Post’s Crime Scene blog, the driver of the dump truck pressed the car against a Jersey barrier. The Jaguar driver then steps out of his car and fires 13 shots at the dump truck, hitting the truck 4 times.

When all was said and done, no one was injured, including the Jaguar driver’s 2-year-old inside (ouch).

So take a deep breath. The last thing you need happening is an encounter with a burly truck driver on the side of the highway.

I hope your Monday is going better than those two clowns. If it isn’t — well, then may God have mercy on anyone who cuts you off later.
