Cops: Teacher Arrested, Drunk in Classroom

1

A California middle school teacher was arrested because police suspected her of being drunk and on prescription meds in the classroom, according to an awesome report.

Administrators at Toro Canyon Middle School reported around 1 p.m. Tuesday that Tonya Neff, 47, was showing signs of intoxication, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

Can I get a new shirt? I've got puke on this one.

I would love to know what those “signs” were. Was it something awesome like doing body shots off Tommy or challenging Susie to a fight? Or was it something lame like throwing up all over the desk, falling asleep in it, waking up two hours later, blaming Tommy and sending him to detention, then sitting there complaining about how bad your head hurts?

Based on that awful mug shot, I’m going with the latter (allegedly). So lame (allegedly).

I’m no educator, but I would say allegedly getting sloshed in the classroom you’re in charge of is a definite occupational hazard.
