Forbes.com Mexican telecommunications kingpin Carlos Slim Helu as the world’s richest person with a net worth of $53.5 billion. That’s a lot of pesos.
He edged out Bill Gates by a mere .5 billion. It may not seem like much, but that’s 2.5 million copies of Windows 7 (at regular price).
Third was my main man, Warren Buffett. I’ll attribute the dip in the rankings due to my non-consumption of Coca-Cola products during Lent. Sorry, WB.
I’ll stop counting. Here’s the rest of the world’s richest.
Can I just point out that the Waltons could just combine forces and blow this list out of the water? There’s 4 in the Top 24.
